Terms of service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These are the rules for using RankAfternoon. By creating an account or starting a report, you're agreeing to them. If you're signing up for a company or an agency, you're agreeing for it too, so make sure you're allowed to.
Accounts
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your login is on you. An account can be personal (one person) or an agency (a team). On an agency account, admins handle billing, branding, invitations and archiving, and members can start reports that get billed to the account. Admins are responsible for who they let in.
What the reports are
A report is research and a plan written by an AI model from a limited sample of evidence: a handful of your pages, keyword and search result data, a couple of competitor pages and, if you connect it, your Search Console data. It can be wrong. It can miss things. Search volumes and difficulty scores are estimates from third parties. Nobody controls how Google ranks pages, so we don't promise rankings, traffic or revenue, and a report isn't legal, financial or professional advice. Read it, check it, and use your own judgment before you act on it.
Your responsibilities
- Only connect a Search Console property you're allowed to access.
- Don't use RankAfternoon to break the law, to harass anyone, or to attack, overload or scrape a website you have no business touching.
- Don't try to get around billing, usage limits or another account's permissions, and don't resell access unless you're an agency running reports for your own clients.
- Don't put anything in a report's form that you don't have the right to share with us and the companies in our privacy policy.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and you see the price before you start a report. A report is paid for from the first of these that covers it: reports included in your plan, your credit balance, your saved card, or checkout. If your account is set up to pay by invoice, reports are added to what you owe instead. A report that needs checkout doesn't start until it's paid for, and if it isn't paid for within 24 hours, it gets canceled and nothing is charged.
Prices don't include taxes. Where tax applies, it's added at checkout. Purchases through Creem are sold by Creem as merchant of record, so Creem's terms apply to those too.
When we change our prices, the prices on existing accounts stay where they were. If we ever need to change yours, we'll email your account admins at least 30 days before it takes effect.
Credit
Credit is money you've paid us ahead of time, in US dollars, to spend on reports. It doesn't expire, it can't be moved to another account, and it isn't cash, except as the refund policy describes.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Some plans start with a free trial; if you cancel before it ends, you aren't charged. Reports included in your plan are granted at the start of each billing period. Unused ones carry into the next period for as long as the subscription stays active. Either way, they end when the subscription does.
If a renewal payment fails, you have 7 days to sort it out before the subscription ends. Some accounts have a different grace period, and if yours does, your billing page shows it. You can cancel whenever you want from billing settings. The subscription keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops renewing.
Your content
What you put into RankAfternoon is yours, and so are the reports it makes for you. You give us permission to use your content to run the service: to store it, to send it to the companies that help produce your reports, and to show it to you and your team. We don't use it for anything else.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using RankAfternoon at any time. Email us if you want your account closed. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay what it owes, or puts the service or other people at risk. If we close your account without you having broken these terms, we'll refund any unused credit.
Things outside our control
RankAfternoon depends on other companies, including OpenAI, DataForSEO, Google and the payment processors. If one of them is down, slow or wrong, your report might be late, incomplete or fail. A failed report gets its price back automatically, as described in the refund policy.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or right for your particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits, lost rankings or lost data, and our total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. For changes that matter, we'll email account admins before they take effect. Using RankAfternoon after that means you accept the new terms.
